Welcome to YOUYOGA Print

I run a wide range of Hatha Yoga classes for all levels, Pregnancy Yoga and Baby Massage in Dublin.
Nice and comfortable room in the city centre to enjoy your classes in a good atmosphere.  I focus on and introduce yoga postures (asanas) breathing (pranayama) and relaxation techniques. It will improve alignment for those already practicing yoga. The physical benefits have been great, the mental calm and clarity of thinking that follow regular practice are the real benefits and deeply stretch muscles. Because of my experience as an Acupuncturist and body work therapist I have a good knowledge of the structure of the body when helping clients in yoga classes recover or strengthen their bodies from injury.

Pregnancy Yoga:  Yoga will help expecting mums to move through the transformation of pregnancy.
Learn posture alignment, Reduce back pain, Relaxation & stress reduction, Breath to enhance your energy & Prepare for birth. After your childbirth you can learn the Art of Infant Massage.

Yoga is a wonderful way to relax during pregnancy. Learn Yoga postures, breathing and relaxation.

Pregnancy Yoga is suitable for women in all stages, who may exercise during pregnancy. The class involves opening and posture work for easier movement in pregnancy and streches. There are pelvic floor exercises, breathing and vocalisation. Stress reduction id discussed and mothers are shown labour positions. The class ends with relaxation. The classes are suitable for mid and late pregnancy (15/16 weeks onwards).

The second Trimester: During the second three months, most women enjoy a new burst of energy and will find yoga postures useful to strengthen the body and improve posture and stamina. Classic yoga postures need to be adapted to avoid constricting the baby or straining the mother. Relaxation, meditation and simple breath work continue to be of value to converse energy in the mother and develop the bond with the growing baby. During the second and the last three months of pregnancy women practising yoga find the need to use ushions to allow them to be comfortable during posture work.

The Third Trimester the pace must be gentle with emphasis on preparing for the impending birth. It's advisable for the birthing partner to work with the mother in order to know to support her during the delivery. The yoga teacher will explore postions that will help the mother ride out contractions with breathing skills that support them and make delivery easier.

Infant Massage: Every parent or caregiver can learn & practice-providing benefits to both baby & parents.
The Infant Massage can: Improve communication between parent & baby, Help to calm babies emotions & relieve stress, Aid digestion & help relieve colic, wind & constipation, Decrease in postnatal depression & more benefits.

Structural Balance Improvers Yoga

Some people find when they start yoga that their bodies are not used to doing this type of exercise and experience muscle pain.
Although this is normal when starting any type of exercise and some postures are still difficult to achieve.
This has a lot to do with our structural balance between the muscles and skeletal being in out of harmony.
The effects of this can be noticed and yoga can help with this but getting your structure balanced in clinic can dramatically speed up this process and improve your yoga sessions.
It’s done by testing muscles and structure in their function and gently putting them back to where they should be.

I recommended that anyone who is really interested in practising yoga should get their body balanced in combination with more yoga practice.

For total health it is best to combine Yoga with structural alignment to keep your body in balance to practice Yoga and internal health in the form of Acupuncture / Massage. This way you will look, feel & be healthier in everyway. This is why I treat in clinic also & recommend everyone who is student of mine to get treatments.

I offer 10% discount for the 1st treatment, to help you get started.
